The Old Process
ECU Re-Chip

In its infancy software tuning was often performed by under-trained personnel using very simple equipment on very simple circuits. As the industry advanced the complexity of the systems grew and it became increasingly difficult for companies to continue offering products. Unfortunately the technology advanced faster than the technical capabilities of these companies and subsequent problems arose. The early companies had neither the electrical nor the mechanical background to build a product that was both safe and powerful. The dark age of software tuning had begun. Even today most of the current tuning companies still adhere to the old technology and black wizardry of trial and error tuning

The New Process
Serial Port Programming

Software tuning has made vast advancements from the early days. Revo rewrite much of the factory source code which allows us to sample much faster with higher resolution and expand the limits set by the programming restraints from the factory. This allows us to monitor 20+ inputs simultaneously in real time instead of one. We spend on average 5 days of data logging and tuning on our codes ensuring the maximum level of performance with the greatest level of drivability. The result is better than factory power, fuel economy, and drivability.
